Donald Trump

Donald Trump on Bill Clinton’s Past: ‘It’s a Threat!’

January 10, 2016 by Daniel

Donald Trump on Bill Clinton's Past

Donald Trump referenced Bill Clinton’s past as a ‘threat’ in an interview with Chuck Todd on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Donald Trump has recently increased the idea of bringing up Clinton’s past if Hillary continues to attack him as a sexist.

Trump said in the interview:

“I don’t want to say it’s a threat, but it’s a threat!”

“Of course. I can call it a nicer name. She was saying he has tendency towards being sexist. … And I said, wait a minute. She’s married to an abuser. A woman claimed rape and all sorts of things, horrible things.”

When Todd asked if he was concerned if it would open himself up to similar attacks with reference to his two divorces, Trump said no.

He also added that it was different because he was a private citizen.

Donald Trump Goes Full Birther on Ted Cruz

January 6, 2016 by Daniel

Donald Trump and Ted Cruz

Donald Trump has finally decided to play dirty politics and go all in on Ted Cruz and the birther argument.

Early on in his campaign, Trump was all about supporting Cruz and even tried to put a stop to the birther claims.

https://videos.files.wordpress.com/bOIEnRG6/when-trump-said-cruz-was-eligible_dvd.mp4

The Washington Post reports:

Donald Trump said in an interview that rival Ted Cruz’s Canadian birthplace was a “very precarious” issue that could make the senator from Texas vulnerable if he became the Republican presidential nominee.

“Republicans are going to have to ask themselves the question: ‘Do we want a candidate who could be tied up in court for two years?’ That’d be a big problem,” Trump said when asked about the topic. “It’d be a very precarious one for Republicans because he’d be running and the courts may take a long time to make a decision. You don’t want to be running and have that kind of thing over your head.”

This is exactly how Trump plays his cards. When he feels like he’s losing, he tries to play dirty. There’s only one problem. Cruz has a sense of humor about things, and he responds in that same fashion.

How to Win: Mitt Romney Advises Donald Trump?

October 17, 2015 by Daniel

Apparently if you’ve ever run for office is an expert and knows how to win. This time… it’s Mitt Romney.

Yes, Romney! You know, the guy that lost in 2008 to John McCain and again in 2012 to Barack Obama.

Well, Romney is out there advising republicans on how to win the White House.  It kind of leaves you scratching your head. It’s like taking marriage advice from someone who’s been divorced multiple times. Or taking parenting advice from someone who doesn’t have kids.

In an interview with democrat strategist David Axelrod, Romney said, “I think Donald Trump has said a number of things which are hurtful, and he has said they were childish in some respects, and I think will be potentially problematic either in a primary or in a general election if he were to become the nominee.”

“And they relate to things he’s said about women, and things he’s said about members of the news media, things he’s said about Hispanics,” he added. “I think he’ll have some challenges if he proceeds to the next stage.”

.@MittRomney is trying to hit back at me because I'm saying that he let the Repub Party down w/ his loss to Obama. Should've won—he choked!

Is Bernie Sanders Trying to Play the Trump Card?

October 16, 2015 by Daniel

After the CNN democratic debate there’s really only two names being talked about among the democrat controlled mainstream media, Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton.

We all understand why Clinton is doing so well. She’s, well… a Clinton. On top of that, she’s got more teflon sprayed on her than anyone out there.

So what’s up with Bernie Sanders? For crying out loud, he’s said on more than one occasion that he’s a socialist. What gives?

Simple. He’s trying to play the Trump card. Seriously, think about it for just a second.

Sanders pulls in thousands at a rally. So does Trump.

Sanders is pretty open about everything. So is Trump.

Sanders doesn’t say too many bad things about his opponents. Neither does Trump. (Donald does, but he’s playing a psychology trick on your mind.)

The most recent time was during the debate when he made the blanket statement that nobody wants to hear about her emails anymore. He said, “Let me say something that may not be great politics. But I think the secretary is right, and that is that the American people are sick and tired of hearing about your damn e-mails.”

Some will say that helped him, others will say it hurt him. In the end, it will be seen that it doesn’t really matter. They argue it helped because he can use it if she doesn’t get the nomination. It would hurt him because it sends a message that he’s okay with a) violating State Department policy on private e-mail; b) disposing of public records without authority; c) misappropriating classified materials; d) covering up possible misconduct and conflicts of interest, as Joel Pollak reported from Breitbart.

In the end, it won’t make a difference. He’s playing his version of the Trump card. He’s only playing on the emotions of the voter. He’s only focused on the right here, right now. It’s Liberalism 101.

Democrat Debate Winner: Donald Trump

October 14, 2015 by Daniel

The real winner of the democrat debate was not even on the stage. It was by and far, Donald Trump.

He took his message to the millennial voter platform, Twitter. He understands, as did Obama both times he was elected as president, that you must take your message to where the voter is.

So where is the voter these days? They’re mobile. They’re on social media.

There are reports coming out that Trump picked up as many as 60,000 new followers on Twitter. That’s ‘YUGE!’

But there’s more to it than how many followers a candidate can get. It’s all about money.

Traditionally, if you wanted to get out your message you had to fork out the cash to buy the airtime. Now? You get on Twitter, or Facebook, and you be you. Neither one of those costs a candidate anything!

So, yes, Trump was the real winner last night. He didn’t spend any money crafting ads that will be on every channel during every commercial break.

His message is all about psychology. He plays on the right here right now. Whatever you’re thinking or feeling, he’s trying to capitalize on it. His medium: Twitter!

Unfortunately… no other candidate did that.

Donald Trump to Live Tweet Democratic Debate

October 13, 2015 by Daniel

In the hope of bringing some excitement to the democratic debate, Donald Trump has announced that he’ll be live tweeting.

At the request of many, and even though I expect it to be a very boring two hours, I will be covering the Democrat Debate live on twitter!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 13, 2015

New York Times reports:

A year later, Mr. Trump has mastered Twitter in a way no candidate for president ever has, unleashing and redefining its power as a tool of political promotion, distraction, score-settling and attack — and turning a 140-character task that other candidates farm out to young staff members into a centerpiece of his campaign.

In the process, he has managed to fulfill a vision, long predicted but slow to materialize, sketched out a decade ago by a handful of digital campaign strategists: a White House candidacy that forgoes costly, conventional methods of political communication and relies instead on the free, urgent and visceral platforms of social media.

“He’s used social media to replace the traditional apparatus of a political campaign,” said Zac Moffatt, who oversaw Mitt Romney’s digital outreach in 2012 and co-founded Targeted Victory, a consulting firm focused on online campaign tactics. “Trump is living on this medium.”

Donald Trump to Win Election with “Linguistic Kill Shots”

October 10, 2015 by Daniel

Dilbert cartoon creator Scott Adams is predicting that Donald Trump will win the presidency because of his “linguistic kill shots” in an interview with Reason Magazine.

What Adams is saying here is that there is more to what Trump is saying than just nonsense, or insults, or compliments at times. He’s saying what we’ve been saying all along, that Trump is basically playing with your mind and your emotions. Trump is not dumb; he’s very calculated with everything he does.

Scott Adams says:

“What I [see] in Trump is someone who was highly trained. A lot of the things that the media were reporting as sort of random insults and bluster and just Trump being Trump, looked to me like a lot of deep technique that I recognized from the fields of hypnosis and persuasion.”

Colombian Voter Loco for Donald Trump

October 9, 2015 by Daniel

At a campaign rally in Las Vegas, NV, Donald Trump was talking about how he is on the cover of People magazine and how ‘they messed up [his] nose.’ Off to the side, he noticed a lady in the crowd had a copy of the exact magazine he was talking about and invited her up on stage.

She shouted, “I’m from Colombia. I’m Hispanic and I’m voting for Mr. Trump. We’re voting for Mr. Trump!”

Jeb Bush Calls Donald Trump Intolerant

September 6, 2015 by Daniel

Donald Trump says Jeb Bush should speak English

Earlier in the week, in referring to Jeb Bush, Donald Trump said, “I like Jeb. He’s a nice man. But he should really set the example by speaking English while in the United States.”

Bush says these comments show a lack of tolerance.

Donald Trump: 3 Core Principles of Real Immigration Reform

August 16, 2015 by Daniel

Donald Trump on Immigration Reform

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump released a paper Sunday detailing what he would do for ‘real immigration reform.’

He says real reform would put “the needs of working people first.” Trump also makes the point to say what most Americans would say, and that is the current system is backwards. He says the system rewards those who are breaking the law. According to Trump, there are ‘three core principles [to] real immigration reform’:

1. A nation without borders is not a nation. There must be a wall across the southern border.

2. A nation without laws is not a nation. Laws passed in accordance with our Constitutional system of government must be enforced.

3. A nation that does not serve its own citizens is not a nation. Any immigration plan must improve jobs, wages and security for all Americans.

Have Mexico pay to build the wall?

For a while now, Trump has said he would have Mexico pay to build the wall. Yet, he really hasn’t given a clear answer as to how he would try to accomplish this.

We all can agree how crazy it sounds. Make them pay for a wall to keep out the people they’re shipping up here and giving them cheat-sheets on how to stay? Come on. Seriously?

The facts are pretty clear. Once they get here they immediately take advantage of the system. They get ‘free health care’, food stamps, live in section 8 housing, get paid in cash so they don’t pay taxes, and more. The one who bears their burden is the American.

So… what’s Trump’s plan to make them pay for it?

“Mexico must pay for the wall and, until they do, the United States will, among other things: impound all remittance payments derived from illegal wages; increase fees on all temporary visas issued to Mexican CEOs and diplomats (and if necessary cancel them); increase fees on all border crossing cards – of which we issue about 1 million to Mexican nationals each year (a major source of visa overstays); increase fees on all NAFTA worker visas from Mexico (another major source of overstays); and increase fees at ports of entry to the United States from Mexico [Tariffs and foreign aid cuts are also options].”

Laws?

We are a nation of laws, and Trump lists 8 steps that “will return to the American people the safety of their laws, which politicians have stolen from them”:

  1. Triple the number of ICE officers.
  2. Nationwide e-verify.
  3. Mandatory return of all criminal aliens.
  4. Detention – not cath-and-release.
  5. Defund sanctuary cities.
  6. Enhanced penalties for overstaying a visa.
  7. Cooperate with local gang task forces.
  8. End birthright citizenship.

Start catering to American workers?

Trump says what many households in America are thinking: ‘What about us?’

Our economy flat out stinks right now, and a lot of that falls on companies who continue to focus on bringing in foreign workers. Jobs across all different industries are being held by guest workers, immigrants – newly legal and illegal, and refugees. By allowing so many to flood the job market, we punish the very Americans who politicians ‘help’.

The foreign workers hold “down salaries, keep unemployment high, and make it difficult for poor and working class Americans – including immigrants themselves and their children – to earn a middle class wage.”

Illegal immigration is a real problem. It has been for many, many years. Is it likely that it will be fixed immediately? No. Are there things that can be done now? Sure. Will people like Trump’s plan? Yes. Are there people who will hate it? Yes.

But, like many Americans feel is happening, Trump says: “We will not be taken advantage of anymore.”
