The real winner of the democrat debate was not even on the stage. It was by and far, Donald Trump.
He took his message to the millennial voter platform, Twitter. He understands, as did Obama both times he was elected as president, that you must take your message to where the voter is.
So where is the voter these days? They’re mobile. They’re on social media.
There are reports coming out that Trump picked up as many as 60,000 new followers on Twitter. That’s ‘YUGE!’
But there’s more to it than how many followers a candidate can get. It’s all about money.
Traditionally, if you wanted to get out your message you had to fork out the cash to buy the airtime. Now? You get on Twitter, or Facebook, and you be you. Neither one of those costs a candidate anything!
So, yes, Trump was the real winner last night. He didn’t spend any money crafting ads that will be on every channel during every commercial break.
His message is all about psychology. He plays on the right here right now. Whatever you’re thinking or feeling, he’s trying to capitalize on it. His medium: Twitter!
Unfortunately… no other candidate did that.
