Health Care

In 2006 Obama Said He Has ‘Stolen Ideas From Jon Gruber Liberally’

November 17, 2014 by Daniel

Over the weekend while at the G20 Summit, Obama was asked about Jonathan Gruber and he responded by saying he was an adviser that had nothing to do with Obamacare.

But, every day that goes buy we get to hear yet another sound byte from Gruber. Today is no different, except we get handed to us today a little nugget of gold with Obama saying he has ‘stolen ideas from Jon Gruber liberally.’

You just can’t make this stuff up people! They’ve tried to dupe you for years into thinking Obamacare was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Well, little did you know you thought you were buying a bottle of honey, only to get home and realize it was vinegar.

Supreme Court Agrees to Hear Contraception Mandate

November 27, 2013 by Daniel

Earlier this week, the Supreme Court agreed to hear arguments on another Obamacare issue.

supreme court

The issue this time: the contraception mandate. This requirement has caused many companies to say that it is an attack on their religious freedom. They argue that because they as a company are required to provide health coverage, which must include coverage for birth control, goes against what they believe.

So, now that these cases are piling up and causing division in the lower courts, the Supreme Court is taking up the case. And, it isn’t expected to release a decision until mid-year 2014.

This will certainly be an interesting case. Besides the fact that the government is allowed to mandate what you as a free citizen must have, they are also trying to force private companies into what they must provide an employee as a benefit.

This should never have gotten this far. This should have been an open and shut case because the government should never have been allowed to regulate what you must purchase. Health care is NOT a right, it’s a privilege.

Obamacare Website Not Even Done Being Built Yet

November 19, 2013 by Daniel

As if there weren’t enough problems surrounding the Obamacare website, new revelation came out today that the website isn’t even done being built yet.

Rep. Cory Gardner (R-CO) questioned Henry Chao, deputy chief information officer of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, about ongoing security issues and the completion of the website.

Chao revealed that about 60% – 70% of the back-end of the website isn’t completed yet. They still have to build the payment portion of the website.

Here is some of his testimony from today:

Why 39 Democrats Broke From Obamacare

November 16, 2013 by Daniel

Upton vote

President Obama’s one-year reprieve came one day before the House approved legislation that would allow insurers to continue to offer policies on the individual market.

The reason Obama had to do this is because of his faltering Affordable Care Act known as Obamacare. What was sold to so many people as a fix for the costs of health care. The problem is that nobody is signing up to be part of the government health exchange. And at the same time, MILLIONS of people are having their insurance plans canceled.

After all, everyone was told repeatedly by Obama and his administration that if you liked your plan you could keep it. However, the fine print was so small you would need a microscope to read it. It’s that fine print that caused so many people to lose their coverage.

So when the Upton bill hit the floor, it was known that it would be a battle of Republicans vs Democrats. Little did they factor, a handful of Democrats broke from Obamacare and voted in favor of the bill.

By them throwing in their vote for the Upton bill, it just goes to show that they recognize the problems with Obamacare. That, and so many of them want to get re-elected in 2014 and 2016.

That’s right. They are only doing this to save their career and get re-elected!

Even if they do it knowing that Obama would veto it, they can still come back later and say they fought for you. They tried and Obama failed them. After all, Obama’s not up for re-election, they are.

Here’s the full list of Democratic defectors:

Katie Pavlich: Fewer Than 50K Enrolled in Obamacare

November 12, 2013 by Daniel

Katie Pavlich joined FNC’s America’s Newsroom with Bill Hemmer to talk about the latest report issued on the Obamacare enrollment numbers.

Fewer than 50K have enrolled, but there’s more to these numbers than the Obama administration wants you to know.

Katie explains that the number reported isn’t all that accurate. You see, it works a lot like when you are shopping online. If you put something in your cart, according to the administration, you are considered enrolled.

It doesn’t matter if you ever plan on coming back to your cart either. They count it as someone has enrolled.

Democrat Sen. Kay Hagan up for reelection calls for Obamacare probe

November 12, 2013 by Daniel

Sen. Kay Hagan (D-N.C.)

Sen. Kay Hagan (D-N.C.) will ask two oversight agencies for a full-blown investigation into the problems surrounding the ObamaCare launch.

Hagan, who is up for reelection in 2014, is asking her Senate colleagues to co-sign a letter asking two agencies to conduct “a complete, thorough investigation to determine the causes of the design and implementation failures of HealthCare.Gov.”

“These problems are simply unacceptable, and Americans deserve answers and swift solutions,” Hagan writes in a letter obtained by The Hill. “Taxpayers are owed a full and transparent accounting of how the vendors contracted to build the site failed to launch it successfully.”

The letter, which is in draft form and could be changed, is addressed to the Government Accountability Office and the Inspector General for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

“We’re All Human” Is All One Dem Rep Could Come Up With

November 5, 2013 by Daniel

Rep. Jim Moran could only come up with “We’re all human.”

His response comes as he tries to defend Obama’s broken promise that if you like your insurance you could keep it.

Yeah, right! Try telling that to the millions that are already being dropped from their coverage.

Here is video of his statement:
