Sebelius Testifies That ‘The Website Has Never Crashed’ While Website Is Down

October 30, 2013 by Daniel

Today, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius had to testify on the rollout of the Obamacare website.

One of the questions she was faced with was why the website kept crashing.

In the video below she answers by saying: “The website has never crashed.”

Obviously she wasn’t aware that while she was testifying and making that statement, the website was down.

Go ahead and watch for yourself:

Insurers Oppose Obamacare Extension

October 30, 2013 by Daniel

Allowing Americans more time to enroll for health coverage under Obamacare may raise premiums and cut into profits, insurers are telling members of Congress in a bid to stop such a move.

Extending the enrollment period would have a “destabilizing effect on insurance markets,” saidRobert Zirkelbach, a spokesman for the Washington-based lobbyist group American’s Health Insurance Plans. Allowing younger, healthy Americans to sign up later, as they probably would, means less revenue for insurers counting on those premiums to help defray the cost of sicker customers, threatening industry profits.

“If you can enroll at any point in the year, then you can just wait until you get sick,” Brian Wright, an analyst with Monness Crespi Hardt in New York, said in a telephone interview. “This isn’t the industry crying foul and exaggerating the issue, this is actually one of those issues where there is a well-grounded reason for the concerns.”

It’s a message the industry is taking to Congress after Republicans there, along with at least 10 Democrats, have suggested enrollment be extended beyond its current March 31 deadline because of issues with healthcare.gov, the federal health insurance website that’s been plagued by software miscues.

Consumers who don’t have coverage through their employers or government health programs are being encourage to sign up by mid-December for plans that take effect Jan. 1. After March 31, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act imposes penalties on Americans without coverage.

Jay Carney Pressed to Admit Obamacare will have Winners and Losers

October 28, 2013 by Daniel

Today, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney was pressed by an NBC reporter on whether there would be winners and losers with Obamacare.

NBC News reporter Peter Alexander asked, “So does the White House concede that there are winners and losers in this plan?”

In true fashion, Carney did his best to avoid answering his question.

Is Michelle Obama Connected to CGI Federal; Builder of the Obamacare Website?

October 26, 2013 by Daniel

CGI Federal senior vice president Toni Townes-Whitley is connected to Michelle Obama.

As first noted by the Daily Caller, the company tasked with building the $678 million Obamacare website is in strange fashion connected with the occupants of the White House.

Townes-Whitley and Michelle Obama were Princeton classmates and are both members of the Association of Black Princeton Alumni.

This could just be coincidence, but that doesn’t mean that anything and everything connected with Obamacare website glitches won’t be looked at.

This train wreck will be investigated, and nothing should be dismissed.

Daily Caller Update:

The Daily Caller repeatedly contacted CGI Federal for comment. After publication of this article, the company responded that there would be “nothing coming out of CGI for the record or otherwise today.”

Democrats Join Call to Delay Obamacare Individual Mandate

October 24, 2013 by Daniel

Several Democrats that will be up for re-election in 2014 are joining the call to delay the enforcement of Obamacare’s individual mandate.

Siting website woes as one of their reasons, support to delay the mandate is a threat to Obama.

It ups the pressure to re-evaluate the failure we know as Obamacare.

So, who is doing what?

  • Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-NH, circulated a letter to push enrollment beyond March 31 of 2014.
  • Sen. Mark Pryor, D-AR, released a statement saying, “I believe, given technical issues, it makes sense to extend the time for people to sign up.”
  • Sen. Joe Manchin, D-WV, is working on a bill that would delay the penalty for a year for those who don’t get insurance.

As if that wasn’t enough pressure, Rep. Rick Nolan (D-MN) and Sen. Bill Nelson (D-FL) are calling for people to get fired.

And, The Chicago Tribune wrote that ‘the bugs aren’t just in the software. They’re in the law itself.’

So, it seems that Obamacare’s house of cards is beginning to topple.

Sebelius: Obama Did Not Know About Obamacare Website Glitches

October 23, 2013 by Daniel

Kathleen Sebelius, HHS Secretary sat down in an interview with CNN’s Sanjay Gupta and said Obama didn’t know about the Obamacare website glitches.

Now, you know she’s feeding lies when after 22 days of having the website up and running, and all the coverage on the news, and all the press conference questions surrounding it, someone finally sits down and says a bold faced lie like that.

And then to have the nerve to say that they didn’t have time to build a website that would be glitch free? As tech-advanced as we are as a nation, most people understand that even the simplest of websites upon being launched will put it through the ringer.

There are services were you can ping your site and ‘force’ traffic to try and overload the servers. This is a no-brainer!

People, they are trying everything in the book to continue to sell you on Obamacare. It is in a death spiral and not even the great Obama can save it.

Is Obamacare in a Credibility Death Spiral?

October 21, 2013 by Daniel

Obamacare is in a death spiral, and Obama headed out today to do damage control.

Look, this is the only thing Obama wants to be known for in history books. He owns Obamacare and he sees that during its roll-out, it has been a total failure!

HealthCare.gov is a joke of a website.

We were told that it had been tested to its max. We were also told that it would be easy to use.

Both of those were lies.

When it was officially launched, it broke. For those that were able to get through, found it beyond frustrating to navigate.

If that wasn’t enough, it seems that his media machine is starting to catch on.

Here is a snip from CBS This Morning talking on this very subject:

Woman Nearly Faints During Obama’s UnAffordable Health Care Speech

October 21, 2013 by Daniel

During Obama’s speech on the Obamacare website, a woman behind him nearly fainted.

But the message is more about when Obama tells her, “I got you, you’re ok.”

What’s so wrong about that, right?

Maybe this is looking too far into it, but by him saying that it sends a message that he has your back. He’s got you. You’ll be ok. No worries.

This is a joke! He doesn’t care for one second.

Comparing Costs with Obamacare’s Unaffordable Care Act

October 16, 2013 by Daniel

If you’ve been to take a look at HealthCare.gov, or even been able to get it to work, you would notice that there is nothing affordable about Obamacare.

When Obama was out selling it, he tried to tell you that the cost of your health care would go down. He also tried to say that if you liked your current coverage, you could keep it.

If you believed any of that nonsense, shame on you!

But then again, we were also told we would have to pass it to find out what was in it.

Well . . . just take a look at this chart from a Heritage study:

Doesn’t look like a lot of cost saving! With an increase of cost, just how does Obama and his cronies expect all those who couldn’t afford it before afford it now?
