It hasn’t even been a full 24 hours since Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik went on a shooting rampage in San Bernardino, and the anti-2nd Amendment, anti-gun crowd has already begun blaming guns.
This goes beyond common sense!
This didn’t happen because California didn’t have strict enough gun control laws.
This did, however, happen because someone was truly disturbed in the head.
Here are two other facts:
- Both of those who carried out the attack were devout followers of Islam.
- Not only did they have multiple weapons and plenty of ammunition and possible explosives, they were wearing protective armor.
What assumption can we come to with just those two facts?
This was not a random, uncalculated act of spontaneous workplace violence.
But, it’s what has been said following the attack that’s getting attention.
It’s a battle of Compassion vs. Control.
For instance, Gerald Rivera tweeted out saying, “Mass shooting in San Bernadino California at a Center for the Developmentally Disabled WTF! The 2d Amendment is Stupid!!! Don’t rationalize.”

Now, let’s not forget that just a few weeks ago he was in tears praying for the safety of his daughter that was in Paris during that horrendous attack. Which happened to be carried out by devout followers of Islam.
But, even when you take a look at those running for president, you get a picture into their warped ideology.
For them… It’s ALL about control!
I refuse to accept this as normal. We must take action to stop gun violence now. -H https://t.co/SkKglwQycb

Horrifying news out of #SanBernardino. Enough is enough: it's time to stand up to the @NRA and enact meaningful gun safety laws

From those bible thumping, gun toting republicans?
California shooting looks very bad. Good luck to law enforcement and God bless. This is when our police are so appreciated!
