The ‘Empty Seat’ at the State of the Union

January 9, 2016 by Daniel

President Obama took to twitter to announce that he will have an ’empty seat’ at his upcoming Stato of the Union.

He says that it will “honor the victims of gun violence.”

.@POTUS just announced that one seat in the #SOTU guest box will be left empty to honor the victims of gun violence. #StopGunViolence

Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz responded by saying if he were elected president he would leave one empty “for the over 50 million unborn children killed since Roe.”

If I'm elected POTUS, there'll be an empty seat for the over 50 million unborn children killed since Roe #Stand4Life https://t.co/BgBy8yYKYd
