Many Bills to Repeal Military Pensions, But No Agreement

January 4, 2014 by Daniel

It’s highly doubtful that the Washington elites who cut military pensions thought there would be this much backlash.

Since the passing of that dreadful bill, many have come out in favor of repealing the cuts. But there’s only one problem: Nobody can agree on how to ‘offset’ the cost.

What does that even mean in a place where the only focus is to spend, spend, and spend some more? Not much. However, it does show that there is a huge disconnect between the administration and the people.

Ask anyone on the street how to ‘offset’ the cost and they would probably say one of two things:

  1. Close the loophole that allows illegal immigrants to collect tax credits.
  2. Quit sending BILLIONS of dollars to people and countries that hate us.

Problem solved? Not really. Because as we all know, nothing is easy if Washington has anything to do with it.
