Republican Weekly Address: Acting on Sequester and Keystone Pipeline

February 23, 2013 by Daniel

This week, Sen. John Hoeven (R-ND) gives the Republican Weekly Address covering the sequester and touching on the Keystone Pipeline.

He first starts out by giving insight that the sequester was in fact Obama’s idea. He also talks about how some members of Congress are already acting on preventing the sequester. Hoeven offers that in order to get the economy going, jobs have to be had in order for the government to increase their revenue and decrease the tax burden instead of raising taxes on the middle class.
