Amnesty Memo to Bypass Congress

July 31, 2010 by Daniel

The recent amnesty memo for illegal immigrants is a work that aims to bypass Congress, a notion that is being denied by Press Sec. Robert Gibbs. And while the issue over illegals is a heated one, the memo lays out two future talking points that will be used to target support for an amnesty bill: To promote family unity, and To foster economic growth.

To blow smoke and mirrors with goody-two-shoes politics with the idea that democrats ‘promote family unity’ is rediculous. It is the democrats that promote anti-family values.

The talking point of fostering economic growth is two-sided itself. The arguement from those on the left is that it would put those people in the tax system that would in turn pay down the deficit. A deficit they built. But, what it would really do is continue to keep unemployed individuals unemployed. Arguing that it would not be possible to pay to send illegals home is a horrible attempt at the left to appear fiscally responsible.

Real reform must take place in the halls of Washington from both sides. Controversial bypass memos will only continue to be the shovel that will dig the lefts hole bigger.
