Donald Trump on Bill Clinton’s Past: ‘It’s a Threat!’

January 10, 2016 by Daniel

Donald Trump on Bill Clinton's Past

Donald Trump referenced Bill Clinton’s past as a ‘threat’ in an interview with Chuck Todd on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Donald Trump has recently increased the idea of bringing up Clinton’s past if Hillary continues to attack him as a sexist.

Trump said in the interview:

“I don’t want to say it’s a threat, but it’s a threat!”

“Of course. I can call it a nicer name. She was saying he has tendency towards being sexist. … And I said, wait a minute. She’s married to an abuser. A woman claimed rape and all sorts of things, horrible things.”

When Todd asked if he was concerned if it would open himself up to similar attacks with reference to his two divorces, Trump said no.

He also added that it was different because he was a private citizen.

Clinton Says US and Russia Agree Gaddafi’s Days Numbered

July 13, 2011 by Daniel

VOA News

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, capping a day of wide-ranging U.S.-Russian policy talks in Washington, said the two powers agree that Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi’s days in power are numbered. Clinton and her Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov signed of series of agreements including one resolving a major dispute over child adoptions.

The United States and Russia have differed over Libya, with Moscow abstaining on the U.N. resolution authorizing military action in Libya, and criticizing the scale of NATO air strikes.

However, at a press event with Lavrov, Secretary Clinton welcomed Russian mediation with the Libyan parties, and said both agree that the crisis must end with Mr. Gadhafi leaving power.

“We are still getting contradictory signals from Colonel Gadhafi’s camp,” she said. “He has yet to meet the red lines that are set by the international community to cease violence against his people, withdraw his forces and step down from power. So although neither of us can predict to you the exact day or hour that Gadhafi will leave power, we do understand and agree that his days are numbered.”

Lavrov said a political process must start between the Tripoli government and Benghazi-based rebels as soon as possible, for a cease-fire and negotiated settlement and said there is no other way to solve the issue.

The Russian minister also defended his government’s refusal to back a U.N. Security Council resolution condemning the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad for its lethal crackdown on protestors.

“You are asking why Russia is blocking the resolution that would condemn Assad. You know, diplomacy does not exist to condemn and start putting on political scores,” he said. “Our goal is to solve problems. But just condemning people without any solution will not lead us to anything.”

Clinton Stumps While Obama Ditches

December 10, 2010 by Daniel

In the effort to help himself and his image, Obama calls upon Bill Clinton to the stump on the tax rate issue. Taking heat from many directions, it would serve Obama good to have a representative of the Democratic party, that is somewhat liked by the party, help ease the pressure. However, Obama puts Christmas Parties ahead of his duties and interupts Clinton and ditches him so as not to “keep the First Lady waiting.”

Just watch and see for yourself:

Wikileaks: Obama vs Clinton?

December 1, 2010 by Daniel

No doubt that Wikileaks hit it big with the newest dump of documents. Which leads many to question what the real purpose is. Was it sabotage? We may never know.

But, what we do know is the old addage of, “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.” Meaning there is real reason to why Obama chose Clinton to be Secretary of State. He needs her there to show experience, but the million dollar reason why is to hope she fails big time. And with a great deal of the dumped documents deal with foreign policy, it puts Hillary’s reputation on the line.

Her reputation is important, especially for her hope at another presidential run for 2012. And, with the hope off stealling the light, Obama has been looking for any reason to take that opportunity away. With his approval numbers at all time lows, anything to boost his standing instead of his closest opponent is needed to give any hope at all for a re-election bid.

Clinton Stumping For Clinton

October 16, 2010 by Daniel

It should come as no surprise that former President Bill Clinton would be out stumping for his wife, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, when she started campaigning again for office.

And, while there have been talks of Obama picking Clinton as running mate for 2012, Bill is out to save the Clinton name. Separating the Clinton name from Obama and what he has done, is a saving grace for Hillary come campaign season.

Not wanting to be tied to Obama and his policies, Hillary has Bill out on the stumping block to do just that. Separation is key for anyone in the Democratic party if they look for a chance of victory. And, if the upcoming elections in November are a telling sign of a dominating victory, sending out a party powerhouse like President Bill Clinton might not be enough.

Although, wouldn’t it be interesting to see Billy-Boy in the White House again, only this time as the First-Man?

Clinton Says Offer To Iran Will Not Change

November 2, 2009 by Daniel

Tensions, to say the least, have escalated recently as U.S. Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton tells Iran that there will be no changes to the offer placed before them about their nuclear program. This is the same proposal that was introduced as they agreed to in principle at earlier talks.

VOA News – Clinton: Nuclear Offer to Iran Will Not Change

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says there will be no changes to an international offer to end the dispute over Iran’s nuclear program by having its low-grade uranium processed and enriched abroad. That proposal is still being considered by the government in Tehran.

Secretary of State Clinton says it is time for Iran to accept the U.N-backed nuclear fuel deal. “This is a pivotal moment for Iran. Acceptance fully of this proposal which we have put forth and which we are unified behind would be a good indication that Iran does not wish to be isolated and does wish to cooperate with the international community and fulfill their international responsibilities,” she said.

While the International Atomic Energy Agency remains in contact with Iran to answer its questions about the agreement, Clinton says the United States, Russia, France, China, Germany, the United Kingdom and the European Union will not accept any modifications to its terms.

“We urge Iran to accept the agreement as proposed. Because we are not altering it. It is the proposal that they agreed to in principal, so that we can move forward and work with Iran on a full range of issues including, but not limited to, their nuclear program,” she said.
