The Stafford Voice on WAAR 6-1

June 10, 2014 by Daniel

In this episode, the news that PFC Bergdahl was traded for the GITMO5 had just broke.

On top of that, the parenting structure is under attack! I introduced you to two sets of parents. One was being awarded for allowing their 5 year old to go through transgender therapy, and the other was picked up by the police for making his child walk home from school to think about why they got in trouble in class.

The last half of the show was focused on explaining how the VA scandal has been trouble since day one.

With the last remaining minutes, I played another game of ‘Who Said That?’ And if you want to find out, take a listen and see if you can guess.

The VA Scandal on WAARadio

May 28, 2014 by Daniel

With the 1st broadcast on WAARadio on the eve of Memorial Day, I discussed the VA scandal.

The finger-pointer-in-chief thinks we need to conduct a study or have some big investigation and figure out just what the problem is and who’s responsible.

That needs to be done, but right now what really needs to happen is to allow these veterans to get the help they so desperately need. My heart breaks knowing that so many of these men and women are committing 22 suicides a day. Compound that with how many veterans are homeless. The real problem is that these are real people, and they aren’t getting the help they need.

Also, with just a few minutes at the end of the show I played a little game of “Who said that?”

Check it out and let me know what you think.

TSV006: Stand Up and Fight Cronyism

May 4, 2014 by Daniel

Caution: Government Waste Ahead

[powerpress]

In this episode, I discuss the toxic duo of ObamaCore and ObamaCare, Ted Cruz fighting Amnesty and if cops should be able to search your cell phone without a warrant.

Caution: Government Waste Ahead

Power Quote of the Week:

Robert Nisbet as he reflected on what the Framers would think after they saw the size and scope of the current government.

ObamaCore (Common Core) and Obamacare

  • Common Core and Obamacare are both top down government regulated programs
  • Both programs are about power and control
  • Both programs are about data collection
  • http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/04/29/Gates-Funded-inBloom-Student-Data-Processing-Company-Shuts-Down-Over-Privacy-Concerns
  • Bill Gates funded Common Core and the data mining company inBloom
  • Jeb Bush is for Common Core, Obamacare and Amnesty

Ted Cruz is Fighting Amnesty

  • http://www.politico.com/story/2014/04/immigration-reform-conservatives-106213.html
  • Ted Cruz met in secret with a handful of fellow Conservatives
  • At the same time, ‘Bonehead’ Boehner was out mocking them
  • We already have an immigration policy
  • We just have to follow the laws
  • We don’t need a ‘pathway to citizenship’ when we already have one
  • We just have to follow the laws

Can Cops Search Your Cell Phone Without a Warrant?

  • That’s the question that the Supreme Court is set to make a decision on
  • One side of the argument says the cell phone is no different than say your wallet/purse
  • The other side says it’s too intrusive
  • “A cell phone has the same contents that the home did in the founding era, it has digital equivalents of papers, letters, drawings, private financial documents, private medical documents,” said Jim Harper, an attorney with the libertarian Cato Institute.

TSV005: We’re at a Tipping Point

April 27, 2014 by Daniel

Paul Revere's Ride

[powerpress]

In this episode, I discuss a video of Cliven Bundy that was a hacked mess, failures in party leadership and how we’ve reached a tipping point.

Paul Revere's Ride

Power Quote: Frederick Douglass

“I AM now at the beginning of the year—1836—when the mind naturally occupies itself with the mysteries of life in all its phases—the ideal, the real, and the actual. Sober people look both ways at the beginning of a new year, surveying the errors of the past, and providing against the possible errors of the future. I, too, was thus exercised. I had little pleasure in retrospect, and the future prospect was not brilliant. “Notwithstanding,” thought I, “the many resolutions and prayers I have made in behalf of freedom, I am, this first day of the year 1836, still a slave, still wandering in the depths of a miserable bondage. My faculties and powers of body and soul are not my own, but are the property of a fellow-mortal in no sense superior to me, except that he has the physical power to compel me to be owned and controlled by him. By the combined physical force of the community I am his slave—a slave for life.” With thoughts like these I was chafed and perplexed, and they rendered me gloomy and disconsolate. The anguish of my mind cannot be written.”

Cliven Bundy

  • Earlier this week a video of Cliven was edited and then distributed which made him appear to be racist. *GASP* He said that there ‘negro’ word. Therefore he’s a racist. Sadly, the damage had already been done before the full video was released which showed the quote, in my opinion, in a different light. Look, Bundy is from a different time. He’s a rancher and doesn’t know all the proper PC terms that are acceptable today. Instead of looking at the whole context he was vilified. Maybe he could have said it different. But, the reality is that many are still slaves. Not like that of yesteryear, but in many different forms. People are slave to the lender. They are slaves to technology. Slaves to taxes and big government. We can go on and on, because this is certainly something that could be talked about later. The bigger problem is that we are at a . . .

Tipping Point

  • Party leadership wants things that We The People don’t want!
  • We’re not even going to get started on Jeb Bush! There’s just too much to go on with that one.
  • John ‘Bonehead’ Boehner wants to pass amnesty and so does John McCain

John ‘Bonehead’ Boehner Mocked Conservatives

  • dramatic parody: “Ooh, don’t make me do this, ooh, this is too hard. You should hear ‘em,”
  • he then says “We get elected to solve problems and it’s remarkable to me how many of my colleagues just don’t want to.”

Back to the Tipping Point

  • people are fed up
  • they understand that we don’t need comprehensive immigration reform
  • we need to first enforce the law
  • pathway to citizenship? There already is one! Just follow the laws and the rules.
  • what we need is a Paul Revere or a Sybil Ludington; who aren’t afraid to call these people out and make them accountable
  • Paul Revere was only one man, Sybil Ludington was only one woman but it took an army to make a real difference

Now, let’s end on a positive note:

Squatters chased off by Veterans and Bikers

  • http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/04/24/ex-cons-squatting-in-soldiers-home-defiantly-stay-put-but-their-tune-rapidly-changes-after-outraged-bikers-veterans-promise-a-little-visit/
  • Army Spc. Michael Sharkey — and his wife haven’t lived in their New Port Richey house since Sharkey was deployed to Afghanistan two years ago. Now the couple lives in Hawaii where Sharky is stationed. So what’s been going on at their mainland digs? Squatters apparently broke in, changed the locks, and refused to leave.
  • This story didn’t sit well with some bikers and veterans groups
  • they found out and said they would go and make sure they would leave
  • squatters heard what was getting ready to go down and left
  • now they are gone and one representative of Veteran Warriors said they were organizing a cleanup and remodel of the house

TSV004: Wedge Issues

April 23, 2014 by Daniel

Throuple: 'Married' Lesbian Threesome

[powerpress]

Throuple: 'Married' Lesbian Threesome
MATHEW GROWCOOT/NEWS DOG MEDIA/MATHEW GROWCOOT/NEWS DOG MEDIA

In this episode, I discuss Common Core being a wedge issue within the GOP and the Lesbian threesome that is expecting their first child.

Power Quote: Thomas Jefferson

“The people are the only censors of their governors: and even their errors will tend to keep these to the true principles of their institution. To punish these errors too severely would be to suppress the only safeguard of the public liberty. The way to prevent these irregular interpositions of the people is to give them full information of their affairs thro’ the channel of the public papers, & to contrive that those papers should penetrate the whole mass of the people. The basis of our governments being the opinion of the people, the very first object should be to keep that right; and were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter. But I should mean that every man should receive those papers & be capable of reading them.”

‘Married’ Lesbian Threesome is Now Expecting

  • Doll, Kitten and Brynn Young
  • Massachusetts doesn’t  recognize three-way marriage – but these  women insist their unconventional union is very real to them.
  • “In our eyes we are married,” said Brynn, 34.  “We had specialist lawyers draw up paperwork so our assets are equally divided.”
  • The youngest of the three wives, 27-year-old  Kitten, is six months pregnant with an unknown sperm donor.

Common Core is Wedge Issue

  • According to the Times: Conservatives denounce it as “Obamacore,” in what has become a surefire applause line for potential presidential hopefuls. Other Republicans are facing opprobrium from their own party for not doing more to stop it.
  • Supporters are even using the same type of language as Obamacare saying opponents “can’t just say no” and that you must “repeal and replace” it.

Don’t forget to tune in on Sunday nights from 8-9 CST on WAAR starting May 11.

TSV003 – Selling Jeb Bush + Amnesty = #FAIL

April 20, 2014 by Daniel

Jeb Who?

[powerpress]

In this episode, I discuss why some are still trying to sell Jeb Bush; why are we still trying to push amnesty; and . . . a special little announcement!

Jeb Who?

Power Quote of the Week: John Adams

“You say, sir, that I have gravely counted up several victims “of popular rage, as proofs that democracy is more pernicious than monarchy or aristocracy.” This is not my doctrine, Mr. Taylor. My opinion is, and always has been, that absolute power intoxicates alike despots, monarchs, aristocrats, and democrats, and jacobins, and sans culottes. I cannot say that democracy has been more pernicious, on the whole, than any of the others. Its atrocities have been more transient; those of the others have been more permanent. The history of all ages shows that the caprice, cruelties, and horrors of democracy have soon disgusted, alarmed, and terrified themselves. They soon cry, “this will not do; we have gone too far! We are all in the wrong! We are none of us safe! We must unite in some clever fellow, who can protect us all,—Cæsar, Bonaparte, who you will! Though we distrust, hate, and abhor them all; yet we must submit to one or another of them, stand by him, cry him up to the skies, and swear that he is the greatest, best, and finest man that ever lived!””

  3. Supreme Court declined to review Elane Photography v. Willock
  4. Why the RNC needs to stay away from Las Vegas
  5. Jeb Bush on Amnesty

Power Quote of the Week: Tocqueville on the Characteristics of Socialism

The Bundy Cattle Ranch Standoff

  • History was made when Bundy fought the law, and the law lost!
  • This is how the west was won.
  • Never underestimate the power of We The People!
  • BLM caved and gave back Cliven his cattle and packed up and left
  • This was a land grab gone horribly wrong by a back-room deal by Harry Reid for his son who represented a $5 BILLION Chinese solar panel deal.

TSV001: Insanity within the GOP

April 6, 2014 by Daniel

[powerpress]

In this episode, I talk about the insanity within the GOP, the Supreme Court ruling on aggregate campaign funding, and why some on the Left are wanting Supreme Court Justice Ginsburg to retire.

Power Quote of the Week

  • James Madison – Federalist No. 10

  • “Complaints are every where heard from our most considerate and virtuous citizens, equally the friends of public and private faith, and of public and personal liberty, that our governments are too unstable; that the public good is disregarded in the conflicts of rival parties; and that measures are too often decided, not according to the rules of justice, and the rights of the minor party, but by the superior force of an interested and overbearing majority.”

Supreme Court ruling on aggregate campaign funding

  • big win in name of 1st Amendment

  • what was this case all about anyway?

  • it upset those on the left

Insanity within the GOP

  • promoting potential candidates that people don’t want

  • pandering big money donors to get behind them also

  • Ted Cruz comes across as a normal dude

    • got a fake tattoo for April fools – people connect with a guy like that

  • Tea Party Community poll

Going forward to 2016 message

  • battle between baby-boomers and millennials

  • how do you sell the message

Pressure on Ginsburg to retire

  • why?

  • she’s the oldest justice

  • not liberal enough?

  • get a younger harder liberal in her place
