September 4, 2012 by Daniel

The Hill has released now poll data that is rather damaging to the re-election campaign for President Obama. The poll was conducted after the Republican National Convention by Pulse Opinion Research of 1000 likely voters.

The people polled showed that the country is not favorable of re-electing Obama. They graded him based on their opinion on the way he has handled the economy, and if the overall condition of the country was better/worse than it was four years ago.

To really get a scope of what the people said, you should look at the data.

Key points:

  • Based solely on job performance, does President Obama deserve to be re-elected? 54% said NO
  • Are you satisfied with President Obama’s handling of the economy? 50% said Not at all Satisfied while only 23% said Very Satisfied
  • Is the country in better/worse condition overall than it was four years ago? 52% said Worse
