Senate Passes Final Debt Vote

In the final hours of debate, the Senate voted to pass the heavily debated debt deal 74-26. Now the bill will be sent to the office of the President for his approval, which will more than likely be signed. Even after all the back room debates, Sen. Reid admitted that ‘the bill was not perfect.’

The bill which drew heavy fire from staunch conservatives, some have stood their ground in opposition. Sen. Rubio, the new face of the conservative movement stood by his word and voted no.
