Paul Ryan for President?

August 16, 2011 by Daniel

There is new information coming out about the possibility of Paul Ryan running by throwing his name into the mix and shaking things up.

Now, whether you want to call it new information or not is your choice. But many hopefuls and Ryan supporters are saying something else.

One republican strategist that claims to be close to Ryan says that he is in Colorado with family mulling over the idea.

If the information is more than speculation, Paul Ryan would certainly shake things up. Also, it will force candidates to take a harder look at themselves and their campaigns.

Popular with the Tea Party, Ryan would be a huge threat to the success Michele Bachmann has enjoyed. Not to mention his uber conservative stance and record that would slow the momentum for Romney and Perry.

A viable threat to current GOP front-runners, Paul Ryan entering into the race would definitely be welcomed by many.

However, Ryan spokesman Kevin Seifert is quick to say, ‘While grateful for the continued support and encouragement, Chairman Ryan has not changed his mind [on not running].’
