Daily Dose

December 24, 2010 by Daniel

“If the people lose control of the arteries of trade and the natural sources of mechanical power, the nationalization of all industry should soon be expected. Our forefathers were alert to resist all encroachments upon their rights. If we wish to maintain our rights, we can do no less.” – Calvin Coolidge

Matthew 2:10-11

10When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

11And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.

On this day in history:

In 1968, the crew of Apollo 8 entered into orbit around the Moon and then performed a live broadcast producing what is refered to as the Christmas Eve Broadcast where they took turns reading from the book of Genesis.
