Winning Hearts and Changing Minds [PODCAST]

January 30, 2015 by Daniel

[powerpress]

In this episode, I discuss what I think should be the foundation of the 2016 election cycle for a republican victory.

The Meat and Potatoes

Ronald Reagan said: “This country was founded and built by people with great dreams and the courage to take great risks.”

People throughout time have risked their lives for the great cause of America. And it’s about time we start protecting what makes America great. And it starts with winning hearts and changing minds.

Ted Cruz had some great ideas that he discussed at the Iowa Freedom Summit. He talked about the need to reignite the miracle of America.

What can $1 Billion buy you? If you ask the Koch brothers they might just say the 2016 election. What are your thoughts?

Have you heard the latest about the Bowe Bergdahl GITMO-5 prisoner swap? What if I told you that one of the guys we gave back is being monitored for militant activity? And, do you think Bergdahl will be charged with desertion?

Good news! Obamacare won’t cost as much as initially predicted. But, that’s because we’re going to enroll more people in Medicare or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Don’t forget all of the increased charges and penalties. That certainly will help!

Lost and Found

Some 70 years ago when a guy landed on Utah Beach, he lost his dog tags. Now, through the miracle of social media, that set of dog tags was returned to the family. What an awesome story!

Who Said That?

Every now and then someone says something so stupid, they leave you scratching your head. This week was no different when John Boehner said in an interview that he was the Tea Party before there was a Tea Party. Wait… What?!
