Bobby Jindal: “Religious liberty created America”

April 1, 2014 by Daniel

Recently, Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-LA) sat down with Genevieve Wood of Heritage’s The Foundry and discussed a few of the challenges he and the nation are facing due to the Obama administration. Among the issues are economic freedom, energy development, the 2nd Amendment, and even religious liberty.

“America didn’t create religious liberty. Religious liberty created America,” he said. “It’s very dangerous for the federal government to presume they know better.”

Jindal added, “This president, I really just don’t believe he trusts the American people. He thinks government is better positioned to make these decisions for us.”
