Rick Perry Makes it Official; Announces Presidential Bid

Rick Perry has made his 2012 presidential announcement an official one.

By making it official on the day of the Iowa straw poll, many are left wondering if he waited too long. However he chooses his strategy, he is now the poll-rival against Mitt Romney. The recent polls show Perry trailing just a few points behind Romney.

As strategy plays into actual voters, without Rick Perry making an appearance at the Iowa debate will certainly put him behind in introducing his message.

Time is however, still a little on his side. There is plenty of time for Perry to share his stance, and there will be plenty of other debates to come.

So, as Perry puts it: ‘It’s time to roll up the sleeves and get to work.’
